Well, the nursery is done! We spent a good amount of time this summer working on getting it all setup. I did the bead board and chair rail around the room and Jen did the painting. We picked red for our color, against the advice of all the self proclaimed psychology experts who insist that you are born with the knowledge that red provokes anger.

This is me measuring for the bead board for length and holes around all the outlets.

This is Jen rolling the primer.

Here it is, finished except for the furniture and decorations.

I guess if we end up with an angry child, everyone will know why, I think it looks great and have never been disappointed with Jen’s judgment when it comes to picking colors for our house.
We also went to Babies R Us this weekend and picked out 2 outfits for when we bring him/her home. It's getting to be crunch time!

That seriously looks like something you'd see out of a magazine. Except I'd like to see a different flooring option.
And surely if your child is angry, you'll have no one to blame but your own outlashing self! Let's just hope he or she never throws a foosball ball or table at you.
Yeah, but I haven't done that in weeks. Is it because I have better self control? Or perhaps because we have been winning every game, hard to say really.
You kicked something across the floor last week, but that is slightly better I suppose. At least there was no target this time.
Let's table my embarrasing un-sportsman like conduct for another thread. Comments on how fantastic the nursery turned out only please.
The nursery did turn out fantasic, and the little outfits are so cute. :)
Congrats, Jen & Cam. Tell Paul for auntie nana that she is the most beautiful baby in the world. You two could not help but have a perfect baby (boy or girl). I'm so proud of all three of you. Give our girl my love and kisses. Hope to see you three very soon.
